DEH 1802L - Dental Hygiene Clinic II

This course is a continuation of DEH 1800L. You will apply the clinical activities for the prevention of oral disease, including patient assessment, taking radiographs, treatment planning, scaling and debridement of soft and hard deposits, coronal polishing, application of preventive agents, and provide oral home care instructions. Emphasis will be placed on treating special needs patient groups and maintaining patient records using DENTRIX dental software. You will be required to successfully complete a number of procedures.
