This program is designed to train you to become an auxiliary law enforcement officer in the state of Florida, and it meets the State requirements as approved by the Criminal Justice Standards and Training Commission. Upon successful completion of this certificate, you become eligible to take the state certification examination. You must pass the state exam and be hired by an agency as an auxiliary officer with limited authority. This will allow you to work with a certified officer and act as directed. You must attend all sessions of training and score a minimum of 80% on all examinations per Administrative Rule.
