This course studies blueprints that apply to overhead line installations and be able to identify and classify oil circuit breakers, primary metering, pole-mounted three-phase reclosers, single- and three-phase transformer capacitor banks, and pole- and platform-mounted regulators. You will study and demonstrate proficiencies in installing, operating, and maintaining OCB’s, primary metering installations, reclosers, transformers and transformer banks, capacitor banks, and regulators. You will study and be able to discuss the theory of operation, application and testing of regulators, and regulator by-pass switches.
