This course teaches the important fundamentals of computer networking and communications. You will study networking terminology, hardware componentry, Local and Wide Area Networking (LAN/WAN) concepts and design, IP addressing and subnet masking, cabling techniques, network topologies, and the Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) model of layered network communications.
