This lab accompanies the Introduction to Drafting course and allows you to apply what was taught during class. You will learn the terminology, techniques, and bases for design in this lab. The concepts introduced in this lab will provide a foundation for you to build on with the rest of the courses in the Drafting program. Some of the concepts that will be covered will align with the Introduction to AutoCAD course with orthographic drawing, multi-view drawing, and isometric drawing to name a few. This lab is designed to help you visualize 3D objects as represented by 2D drawing views, visualize 2D drawing views, and create a 3D view. It will also cover job opportunities available to drafters and the various responsibilities drafters may be assigned.
