This course is designed to advance your knowledge of medical insurance and coding. Additionally, you will be introduced to reimbursement, inquiries, fraud and abuse, revenue cycle management, value-based purchasing, and appeals. All forms of healthcare are studied including managed care, worker’s compensation, disability, Medicare, and Medicaid. You must pass this course with a grade of C or higher.
