This lab introduces you to the practice of dentistry. You will actively participate in scheduled dental evaluations for the areas in professionalism, the dental office, patient reception and positioning for delivery of care, instrument exchange and oral evacuation, occupational health and safety, chemical and waste management, patient information and assessment, vital signs, oral diagnosis and treatment planning, and extrinsic stain removal. The history of dentistry and the dental health team will be included.
