This course includes instruction on the history of orthodontics, malocclusion, orthodontic vocabulary, photographs, bracket slot, wires, tooth movement, and all phases of bonding wires, headgear, and retainer finishing. This course includes taking the State Expanded Functions Orthodontics Examination. This course is required for completion of the Dental Assistant Program.
