DEH 1600 - Medical Emergencies

This course deals with the need to recognize the total health status of the dental patient, as well as the desirability of anticipating and preventing the development of emergency situations in the dental office. Once an emergency occurs, the dental auxiliary must be able to recognize and assist with the management of such emergencies. The relationship of health and medical histories will be emphasized in the context of preventing emergencies from occurring.
