CJC 3010 - American Corrections

This course will provide an overview of the American Correctional System including historical development, present status, and suggested reforms. Discussions will include detailed descriptions of early history of correctional thought and practice, the punishment of offenders and probation and the prison experience. The course will conclude with an in-depth view of the future of American Corrections.
