NUR 3145 - Pharmacology for Nursing Practice

This course will build on the current knowledge of the practicing nurse to further develop the nursing management of medication regimens in client care. It will highlight issues in pharmacology and provide you with increased knowledge of pharmacological therapies in the management of diverse clients across the lifespan. Emphasis will be on improving client outcomes, client education, compliance, safety, and the effective use and expectations of their medications. In addition, you will complete classroom and web-based assignments and activities using evidence-based practice and peer-reviewed research publications to enhance nursing practice. This is an online and hybrid format course that incorporates web-based components.
