This course will explore health and healing as it relates to the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual levels of the clients served. It will look at the history and evolution of complementary care available today. In this course, you will explore select complementary therapies using evidence-based, peer-reviewed research and evaluate the bases for healing and effectiveness of the selected therapies from a nursing and consumer perspective. This is an online and hybrid format course that incorporates web-based components.
