STA 2023 - Elementary Statistics

In this course, you will utilize descriptive and inferential statistical methods in contextual situations, using technology as appropriate. The course is designed to increase problem-solving abilities and data interpretation through practical applications of statistical concepts. This course is appropriate for students in a wide range of disciplines and programs. Topics include fundamental statistical methods such as organization, analysis and interpretation of numerical data, measures of central tendency and dispersion, statistical distributions, sampling techniques, hypothesis testing, probability, z-tests, chi-square tests, correlations, and regression equations. You will be required to demonstrate skills and understanding of statistical topics through multiple assignments and assessments and must earn a grade of C or higher in this course.
